It would have been helpfull if you had mentioned which part you had sprained.
The basic treatment for most sprains is rest to the part, keeping it elevated most time of the day, compressing it well with bandages, and immobilising the part with ace-wraps.
Meanwhile consult with an orthopedician.
For pain take analgesics.

Apply ice cube to the part to reduce swelling and pain, Keep the limb elevated and aplly a moderately tight bandage to your ankle . Immobilize it and take complete rest until pain and swelling come down.
For pain take zerodol 100mg (2 times a day) or ibuprofen 200mg (twice daily) for 2-3 days until your pain subsides.

Apply crepe bandage in such a way to support the sprained side. Elevate the limb above the heart level to keep edema to the minimum, take anti-inflammatory medicines like Ibuprofen thrice daily( if this suits you). Take rest as much as possible. This should settle fast.
Id the swelling is too much and / or unable to walk and bear weight, please visit the Orthopedic Surgeon , have an X-ray to rule
