Hi - my mom (92) just got home from the hospital and has a callus on the tip of her big toe which - during her hospitalization - became irritated and is now brownish-black (from tightly-tucked blankets, I guess). We were told to just apply Betadine to dry it out, but I'm still a little concerned. It is a little sensitive

Looks like it is inflamed. Cleanse it with betadine and then spray neosporin powder on it. Once driedthen use any cream for warts containing salicylic acid
