What Are The Symptoms And Treatment For Vertigo?

I have dealt with dizziness off and on for 3 years. When I am tired the symptoms are worse. It is very dis-orienting. I have had vertigo in the past, but this is unlike full blow vertigo. I am not spinning just dizzy. When I lie down I have to put a lot of pillows under my head to be able to relax and go to sleep.

Dear patient.
Greetings from health care magic!!! I am Dr Thakker and shall be answering your question.

I can understand your anxiety about vertigo because it can be quite incapacitating. I will try my best to answer your question and guide you through it.

You could be having dizziness due to one of the following causes:

1) Orthostatic hypotension

2) Benign positional vertigo

3) Labrynthitis

4) Menieres disease

5) Cerebellar disorder.

I would like to know your age, if you are taking anti hypertensives, more details of the vertigo, hearing loss, history or alcohol intake, heart disease to be able to pin point to the exact cause.

A visit to a physician for orthostatic BP change and an ENT doctor for vertigo can be helpful.

In the mean while you can take stugerone and vertin for control of your symptoms.

I hope this helps you out. If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to write back to me.

Yours sincerely,
Dr Thakker.
