Hello doctor My fathers just got a stent put as his two arteries were blocked .due to some complications in one of the arteries the stunt could not be put an AIBP machine was used ti enhance his Bps.now he has 1 blocked artery with 90% blockage n was highly diabetic due to which we never came to know he had already had heart attacks. Now will he keep living normal with medicineselse then why do people go for Angioplasty if its equal to putting a stunt? Also he has been continuosly complaining of back ache n out dr doubled the dose of Pentocid Dsr. Also has been havng frequent breathlessness.should he every dsy without any problem take the Aerocot inhaler advised by the Doctor?? 3days back along with breathlessness he was heavily sweating as well i gave him a sorbitat but the sweating stopped after more than half n hour. Could that be an attack agsin? What should i do?? Breathlessnes occurs only late night

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

There are separate and specific indications for the stent and bypass surgery. There are several more secondary and modifying factors - hence the need to tailor to individual needs. One size doesn't suit all.

Your father has Coronary Artery Disease / It is not stable / Probably heart failure and asthma /

He should be admitted again in a Tertiary Care Multi-speciality care Hospital / investigated / very likely he needs a bypass

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
