What Is The Permanent Solution For Tennis Elbow?

I literally woke up one morning and my elbow hurt. very painful. I do not remember doing anything specifically i.e fall, twist. This has been going on for about a month and is not any better. I went to my family doc and she said it was probably tennis elbow and to try a band on my arm I did try it and no relief, The only thing that helps is anti-inflamatories and if I stop the pain returns. Not sure what to do

Hi
Thanks for writing your query
If it is a tennis elbow as diagnosed by your doctor then my advice would be –
1. Exercises for the elbow- like upward and downward movement of wrist with elbow in extension.
2. Ice fomentation at the site of pain, ibuprofen, tennis elbow brace and tab.tendocare also help.
3. If the above measure fails then one may have to take injection depomedrol at the site of pain.
Hope this information helps you.
Take care and I shall be glad to answer any further query.
