What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy After Having Tubes Tied ?

I have had my tubes tied for 3yrs, and have regular menstrual cycles. My period is a week late this month. I took a hpt and it was negative but I feel like I might be pregnant? I had bleeding after intercourse a couple of weeks ago and went to the drs last week. She checked cervix and no infection or polyp. Never had bleeding with intercourse and never missed a period before. I have to pee all the time, lower back ache and bloated, full feeling. Is it possible I could be pregnant or something else? Fibroid? Cyst? Thanks:)

Hi
Tubes being tied as a method of contraception is very effective. So it is unlikely that you are pregnant.
However there is a very small chance that the method can fail (among the women who have had this surgery there is a chance that one in two hundred women can get pregnant in a period of one year). Take a blood test for pregnancy. If that is negative take progesterone for starting your periods. Occasionally period can be delayed and that is normal.

Are you regular with your pap smears? If you have not done one, please take a pap smear.
Fibroid does not delay period. Ovarian cyst can delay period sometimes.
If you have increased frequency of urination check your urine for infection.
I hope I have answered to your satisfaction
