should i have sex at the age of 15?

ok so me and this guy are thinking about having sex...we are both 15 now but he lives like 20 minutes away so we aren t quite sure when we would do it. we both are virgins and care about each other lots and i actually love him and have for almost a year. i just don t know what to do i just recently decided i wasn t going to wait until i got married to have sex but yet i still do...but i m worried it will hurt lots, he says he would make sure it wouldn t, but i m just scared and don t know what to do! i would ask my best friend but she s waiting until she gets married and my other friend who has sex a lot told me not to which i find a little hypocritical! please help i don t know what to do...btw this is embarrassing to admit but he will be my first EVERYTHING i ve never even kissed anyone, but then again i went to a school with 100 people until my freshman year so that s not entirely my fault... anyways help! oh trust me i m 100% aware of the consequences!! i tell him about it all the time bc i do not wanna get pregnant at 15 or get an STD

i think at 15 your in no way sure to know what love really is and you will see that much later trust me.a love of a 15 yr old and the love of a 18+ is very different, sex bring on lots of things not just kids , it can actually change the way he and other people view you , i dont think at 15 its a good idea to be sexually active without first having a job, a house and a car, because how do you know if and thats a if which could 50% happen that he will want you or the kid after you have it? he is young as well he is in no way to be a father he has to be at 14-16 yrs old still figuring out life , if you love each other you will wait and not screw each others lives and futures up,kids cost alot avg baby cost atleast another 600$ min per mth so get a job, car and house and dont burden yours or his parents

My first reaction is to say no. I think you should make up your own mind knowing as much as you can about prevention of disease and pregnancy. Then you need to understand the importance of prevention and the consequences. Then you need to decide how it will affect the families if the secret gets out. Then how it will affect you when the word gets out. Then understand your Idea of 100% at age 15 is probably only about 25% Then you need to practice prevention with a diligence of knowing you are playing with peoples lives. Sex and love is easy while you are living in your parents house, eating food they paid for wearing the clothes they bought you. Get a job, live on your own and then sex it up.
