peripheral joint pain, diarrhea, arthritis test negative

I have been dealing with perrifferal joint pain , severe SI joint pain and costachondritis thoracic back and neck pain , for years. The only definitive diagnosis I have received is collagenous colitis after a three month bout of diareah. Is there any connection? I have been tested for arthritis many times over the last 12 years with consistent negative results.
