Is It Possible To Die From A Heart Attack In Sleep At The Age Of 26?

My friend just past away in his sleep due to a heart attack at 26 is this possible? I can t imagine that a 26 year old male could die in his sleep due to a heart attack. He smoked and drank but did not due drugs. He was not overweight by any means. I just dont get it.

There have been teenagers who've had the same thing happen. Often is is due to an undetected, inherited heart defect. Sometimes it's due to a combination of factors such as a medication interaction. And every so often, there just does not seem to be a viable explanation. So live life carefully and fully - it's the only one you've got!
