i want healthy diet to lower cholestorol and blood pressure

I am fed up with statins, beta blockers and NHS medical approach to my problem. Feel sure correct diet and vitamins would be an improvement. Any ideas anyone out there. Thanks

Good for you! If possible to stay away from medication, by all means do so. For cholesterol, take food with lots of fibre (both soluble and non-soluble) and phytosterols. For high blood, take lots of foods with essential fatty acid namely Omega-3, found mainly in fishes. Also found in vegetables. Omega-3 is also good for cholesterol control But with the quality of our food products nowadays, you and I need to take food supplements to make up for the lack of nutrients found in natural food.
