Can Taking Femara For Three Weeks Cause Intense Hip ,groin Does Fremara Have Any Side Effects?
can taking femara for three weeks cause intense hip ,groin pain, throbbing pain down to my knee. nsaids do not take or ease the pain in any way. the pain gets worse as the day progresses. My lymphedema in my legs are worse now also since this started. I have spent 5 weeks in physical therapy with no improvement
Hi I am not clear with your question. I would like to know your age, status of menstrual cycle whether premenopausal or post menopausal? Femara is an oral non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor for the treatment of hormonally-responsive breast cancer after surgery.Very common side effect is arthralgia (joint pain).Long term use may lead to osteoporosis which is common in post-menopausal women or osteoporotics, bisphosphonates may be helpful. Consult your specialist who prescribed you the drug. X ray or DEXA will be helpful
