brain strock basal ganglia, what is the out come of her recovery ?

My sister who is 53 suffered a brain strock 4 days ago....they have her provocol....and has a breathing tube in her...when they try to desrease the provocal wht does her blood pressure go says she is suffering from basal ganglia due to her high blood pressure...she does have sweeling in her brain 1.3 centermeters...what is the out come of her recovery ?...she also has diabites type2 and high colestro

It seems your sister's case is complicated. She has developed stroke due to hypertension. Dtabetes can also cause stroke. Detailed 3eport and the way her body respond to the treatment can only reveal the outcome of her recovery. Consult an eminent neurologist and neurosurgeon.

Welcome to HCM,
Due to hpertension she has suffered a stroke. She has to undergo a MRI to find out the size of stroke, volume etc. Truly speaking after knowing all the outcome of MRI then doctor will be able to say about the recovery & all. Generally the recovery will be good.
