welcome to healthcaremagic
Blood in stool is not normal. Fresh blood in the stool is caused by bleeding in the digestive system. When the blood is fresh, it is generally caused by bleeding from the rectum or from the lower colon, because blood from higher in the gastrointestinal system (such as the esophagus or stomach) is usually clotted. When fresh blood occurs in the stool, it can range, colorwise, between bright red and a darker color, such as maroon. It may be detected by a special test, called a fecal occult blood test, which can be performed by a physician. If the bleeding in the stomach and duodenum the stool may be dark brown called malena it may be hard in nature
Please consult the doctor for diagonose the cause of Blood in stool and treatment accordingly
Thanks
