Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain Co-Moxiclav is an antibiotic containing Amoxicillin and clavulanic acid..
Amoxicillin when combined with Clavulanic acid there is increase in its potency and in case if there is some resistance then clavulanic acid will improve its potency and you will have better action of the antibiotic over the bacterial infection..
Therefore you can continue with co-amoxiclav..
Second thing is that diarrhea is a common side effect of antibiotic intake and once the antibiotic intake will stop the diarrhea will improve..
But in case if there is excess of blood in stools you should immediately consult your treating physician..
As of now continue taking the antibiotic and to reduce diarrhea you can take Loperamide..
You can also take Omeprazole or Pantoprazole in the morning empty stomach till the antibiotics are being taken..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
