Would Application Of Steroid Ointments On Face Cause Acne?
For my 8 yr old daughter,I used elocon on nose boil for months,then got it surgically operated after it was diagnosed pyogenic granuloma,n used sofradex for 5 days and elocon for 15 days, now she keep getting small acne on nose? What is the treatment if this is a result of wrongly applied steroidal ointments?

I would keep a possibility of steroid induced acneform eruptions.
Elocon cream contains mometasone which is a potent steroid and regular use of it can cause acneform eruptions on face.
Steroid induced acneform eruption is managed the same way as teenage acne. You can use a topical antibacterial like either clindamycin gel or nadifloxacin gel for day time use and topical benzoyl peroxide gel for night time use.
