Hello,i have gone through your question.i will certainly agree that you will need aortic valve replacement as you have severe Aortic stenosis.regarding root repair,i would like to tell you that the valve we replace is to be stitched with Aortic root.if that root is dilated it becomes week and may not hold stitches well.so it needs repair as well.
i wish you all the best.

Cardiologist Dr. Rajesh Teli's  Response
hello,
I have gone through your query. Thanks for using HCM.
you need Aortic valve replacement for severe stenosis. As your root is enlarged it needs to be repaired so that it holds the replace valve firmly and properly.you must undergo surgery and it will be successful.
My best wishes
