With Thyroid Levels High And Missed Period Am I Pregnant?
Hi. I am taking thyronorm 50 mg for past one year. Tsh levels were well under control. I used to check my thyroid levels once in 3 months.i took a test yesterday and found elevated t3 and t4 and very low tsh 0.05. What could be the reason for such change in thyroid levels? I did a test last month where tsh was 2.4. I am planning for pregnancy and haven't got my periods yet. (today s 31 day). Its too early to test pregnancy.
Hi thanks for contacting HCM You can test your Pregnancy in urine or from blood after six day of Fertilization ,i.e., in common after six day of missed period. Urine is qualitative test that is you are pergnant or not. But the blood test (beta hCG) is quantitative test means growth of fetus is on the way.( less common in India) TSH is 0.05 .(TSH values can vary during the day. It is best to have the test early in the morning) its normal range is Normal values range from 0.4 - 4.0 milli-international units per liter (mIU/L). Reduce your dose.take 25 micro gram insist of 50. Take opinion with Endocrinologist for thyroid. and Gynecologist for Preganancy Hope my ansewer will help you
