Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries
I can understand your concern. Tobacco consists of nicotine which is a highly dependent substance and have high abuse potential. Tobacco use regularly result in progressive increase in dose. The tobacco results in lack of focus, concentration issues on long term. Brain becomes dependent on tobacco and abrupt stoppage results in anxiety and severe restlessness and other withdrawal symptoms. Please try to quit use of tobacco as this would result in serious issues in long term.
Visit a psychiatrist for help. Nicotine containing gums can help you to reduce the withdrawal symptoms and can replace the tobacco. Drugs like bupropion can help to reduce the anxiety and restlessness caused by withdrawal. Please consult a psychiatrist for help.
Thanks, Hope this helps you.
Take care
