Will There Be Any Problems In Taking Thyroid Medicines During Pregnancy?

hi i m 15 week pregnant .right now i m detect low level of thyroid , my doctor advice to take thyroid tablet every day, but i m confused that there is any affect on my baby and me due to my low level of thyroid level.and this thyroid tablet is temporary or life long.

Dear member,
Thanks for writing to healthcare magic.
If your thyroid levels are found to be low then thyroid tablets during pregnancy is required.
If not then there is risk to baby.
So please don't miss the medication and repeat the TSH, T4,T3 after 4 weeks to check the levels.
Most women who have thyroid problem detected during pregnancy revert back to normal after delivery.
Please upload report if necessary.
