Will The Removal Of Cervix Cause Trouble In Pregnancy?

My daughter has had 2 abnormal paps. Low grade squamous intraepithelial lesion @ 6 & 9 o'clock. Had 2 colposcopies and needs to go back again in March 2012. They may need to remove these areas of the cervix. Will this prevent her from getting pregnant or retaining a pregnancy?

Thanks for asking in healthcaremagic forum
Yes, there are many risks associated with removal of cervix/taking cervical part for biopsy. Some of them are,
a. Miscarriage
b. Obstructive labour due to cervical scarring
c. Infections etc
SO, please consult your treating doctor and discuss all the risk associated with it and proceed further if absolutely necessary.
All the best.
