Will The Prescribed Medicine Causes Diabetes?

Does Adderall have any effect in pancreas problems, like insulin dependent diabetes? Also what about Tramadol. My son, takes more prescribed meds than is needed and I was wondering if any of these two drugs could have caused his recent diabetes? blood sugar over 700 in ER

Hello,
Very frankly speaking neither tramadol or ADDERALL causes high blood sugar levels resulting in diabetes.
You must be having uncontrolled diabetes for a very long time which has remained undetected till now.
So much of high levels require admission in the hospital and managed by intravenous fluids and injectable insulin.
Thanks
