Will The Delay In Birth Time Be The Reason For Dark Colour?

my Son born more then 8 hours after my wather breaks ..
my Son born with some delay problems and a few a other problems, and at the birth time his color was very dark.
the delay in the birth could have caused these problems? all tests performed before the birth showed a normal and healthy baby

Delay in the birth time cannot make the child dark.
If the child gets suffocated during the labour then it could be cyanosed where in the colour would be bluish. The doctors would resuscitate and the colour would become normal again.
If the colour of the child is dark through out, it is its natural colour. Is his father or any of his relatives of dark colour?
If the dark colour has improved after some time, (which is not clear from your question) it could have been a cyanosed baby due to suffocation.
I hope you got your query resolved.
