Will The TSH Level Affect My Baby?

I am 17 weeks pregnent, My TSH level has gone high to 6. Please let me know what could be the impact of it on my baby. Was diagnosed with it before pregnancy and was on medication( Hypocare 100MCG) , last month my doctor reduced(50MCG) the dosage leading to this level.
I am worried a lot now about the impact.

Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Relax,do not worry.
High TSH levels can affect the mental and physical development of the baby, but only during the first trimester of pregnancy.
A level of 6 is high, but not worrisome.
Ideally, it should be less than 2.5
By now, all major organ systems have developed, and you should just quickly increase your dosage of thyroid replacement.
Check the level again after 4 weeks.
All the best
Please feel free to discuss further.
