Will Taking Dolo And Cifran While Suffering From Fever Cause Any Problems?
Hi Doctor, My friend took 2 tablets fo Dolo 650mg and 2 tablets of Cifron 500and 1 tablet of Amlong at one dose last night due to some reason. He doen't have any fever.(Amlong was suggested by one doctor for stess reduction). Morning he seems to be fine. But I am worrying whether will it cause any problem. Do we need to take him to Doctor?

Your friend took 3 medicines i.e paracetamol,one antibiotic and last is a blood pressure controlling tablet and he has taken more dose of these than usually prescribed.But as you said he has no problem now so no need to take him to the doctor now.Your friend should be counselled about using self medication.Its a very bad habit.He should use medicines only after doctor has prescribed him because doctor knows better the use ,dosage of medicines.otherwise wrong consequences can happen like if you antibiotics for less duration than usual,it can cause drug resistance mean the same medicine will not be effective next time or if more dose is used then it can lead to toxicity of that drug.So tell your friend be careful and dont use self medication practice.hope this help.
