Will Taking Aspirin Help To Reduce Heart Rate And Heart Fluttering?

I normally have a heart rate of 75 bpm, but two years ago I ended up in the emergency room for having a heart rate of 110 bpm. They gave me a shot and aspirin, to get my heart rate back to normal, and since then I have not had the problem to that extreme. Today my rate is back up and I am feeling like my heart is fluttering. Will taking aspirin help me get it back down?

Hi. Welcome to HCM. Aspirin is used to treat pain, and reduce fever or inflammation. It is used to treat or prevent heart attacks, strokes, and chest pain (angina). Aspirin should be used for cardiovascular conditions only under the supervision of a doctor. This drug is prescribed for u to prevent blood clots (aspirin is a blood thinner) which might happen in heart fluttering. But i would suggest u to consult your treating doctor and he will examine u and decide to put on aspirin. Dont take by yourself. Regards
