Will Suboxones Show Up In Any Medical Test?

i am on percocet from my DR. & may have a job interview, But @ not sure if the meds would mess up my chance for the job. so I was thinking of getting some Suboxones just for a few days to help me get off the meds so that when I do the interview I will be good for the position. & then bring up the fact that i got medication for my back and neck. But I was concerned that the Suboxones would show up on the drug test too. ???? How long would it take for the suboxones take to get out of me if so???? DO YOU THINK THAT THEY WOULD LOOK FOR SUBOXONES LIKE PERCOCETS?

Hi,

Suboxone also contains an opioid which is called buprenorphine. It can be easily detected in urine samples provided it is specifically tested for. It is not tested for in 5 panel tests but is included in the 10 panel tests. Since most employers use 10 panel tests these days, there is a high possibility that you report would be positive. It can be detected in urine for around 3 days after last intake. Since you have been prescribed Percocet by your doctor, I think it will be better to disclose that, rather than risk being found positive for Suboxone, which will instantly label you as an opioid addict.

Best wishes.
