Will Stripping Of Veins Cause Problem In Lymph Glands In The Groin?
i have to have my veins striped and they have told me that it may effect my lymph glands in my groin, in what way will this effect me? i had surgery in the 90s and they didn t take away enough vein from my groin and it has been left in a bit off a mess.

Hi, Varicose veins surgery usually does not affect the lymph glands as the surgical field is away from them. The only condition when they can get affected is in repeat surgeries where the surgical planes get distorted by previous surgery or if post operatively there is infection which can lead to lymph gland swelling.
