Will Multiple Sclerosis Effect The Sperm Count?

Hi, I have multiple sclerosis and have had iv steroids a couple of times and also a couple of oral courses of methylprednisolone. Someone told me that this can affect my sperm count and I should get it frozen in case it does. Is this correct?

Thanks
Chris

Hello,

Thank You for consulting HealthcareMagic!

True that improper use of steroid effects the health of sperms but it cannot be generalized with your case which says only couple of courses of iv and oral steroids. It is a side effect but not a mandatory thing. You need a ohysical exam to confirm if this is happening with you.

Stay healthy and thank you for consulting! You can contact me again anytime, if you need clarifications or further assistance in future. Kindly rate the answer if you are satisfied.
