Will Meftal And Asthalin Given For Cold Lead To Side Effects?

im worried, my 6 yrs old son is shivering with cold, he jst vomited the syrup ive given im helpless plz help me........ hes been having this fever from5 days....... we took him to pediatrician he has been given foll medicine
1. advent 457mg - 5ml 2times
2.meftal -p 13ml 4 times
3.asthalin 7ml 3 times
i think he got sm side effects , i dont knw what to do......... he has wheezing problem priorly from 3 years and also he developed fever after loosing a tooth....... plz help

Hi,

There is no need to worry about it. Vomiting in this case is not side effect of medicine, its just due to fever and cold. Give him an injection of Ondansetron (Inj. Vomikind) with dose adjusted by treating doctor. It will stop his vomiting and he will be able to take his medicines.
