Will Losing Weight During Pregnancy Harm The Foetus?
My daughter's friend is 7 months pregnant and has only gained 10 lb. I am worried for her because she found out the unborn child has a leaky valve. Heather has gained 35 lbs but lost it because her husband filed for divorice. How dangerous is this to the child? We are taking care of Heather and need to know what signs we should look for. Weight loss and at such amounts is certainly not healthy. But we can only ascertain her fetus's health with the help of an ultrasound and an amniocentesis if at all discrepancies in the ultrasound are found. Please report to a doctor at the earliest.
