Will Lipoma In The Stomach Affect Pregnancy?

Hi ..i am 20 weeks pregnant. Have a lipoma in my stomach which has been there for years .Had it checked out back then and doc said it was nothing to worry about just fat cells under the skin.. Didnt really bother me until now I am concerned if it will interfere with my pregnancy ..It is to the far left side just under my ribcage and I think it has grown slightly..Should I be worried ?

Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion lipoma is a benign tumor of fat cells under the skin.It is commonly seen in many people. It doesn't harm.It might grow slowly. Some people have propensity to have them for causes unknown. It doesn't affect the pregnancy neither the pregnancy will affect its growth. So you need not worry.Relax.
