Will lactulose bring on labour?

im 39 weeks and 4 days pregnant and have had a few close calls with labour. someone suggested i try lactulose to bring on labour. will it actually work or should i stay clear of it?

lactulose works as laxative & sometimes helps on producing labor pains.
but if you want to take it,you should take under medical supervision.

It would be best to avoid doing anything of this sort without medical supervision. You need to be monitored for foetal condition to see that your baby is doing fine and do not attempt these dangerous ideas. Kindly get examined by an Obstetrician who will induce you if necessary.
