Will Intake Of Doxycycline Affect Muscle Growth?

Hello, I was prescribed Doxycycline Monohydrate 100MG twice a day ( with or without food), and I am a weightrainer and lift heavy 5 times a week. I am 22, 5'10, and trying to my mild acne. I keep reading that the medication will inhibit protein synthesis, and kill all the good bacteria in my gut. My Question is : Will doxycycline affect or limit muscle growth? Because if so then the hard work in the gym will be pointless. I am also taking Whey Protein, and Creatine ( both are 2 hours separated form doxy)

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query.Doxycycline is a bacteriostatic drug which inhibit protein synthesis in bacteria. But protein synthesis in human is not inhibited. So you dont need to worry about that.Taking it with dairy products decreases its efficacy.Intestinal dysbacteriosis can occur by doxycycline. For that you can take probiotics.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
