Will Intake Of Consvel And Duphaston Tablets Have An Impact On Fertility?

Hi Doctor, My wife is having irregular periods and we have visited doctor she has suggested to take Consvel tablet for 30 days and from her 16th day of period to start with Duphaston...may I know for what reason these tablets given. will it impact fertility as we are planning to get pregnant.

Hi,DEAR.The consvel tablets are supplements which help you to overcome any kind of nutritional defficiency which is unnoticed.The duphaston are tablets containing progesteron hormone,progesteron is a essential hormon which is needed to keep your menstruation regular and to maintain pregnancy in initial days.So if you are planning to concieve this duphaston will help keeping progesteron levels at optimum level,it does not interfere in pregnency inspit of that it will enhance the chances of conceiving.So do not bother,Your wife will be alright.Take care.
