Will Inflamed Tonsils Cause Bleeding?
i have the last few days woken up with blood round my mouth and on my pillow,its a dark red blood,also 2 weeks ago i had tonsillitis and i have seen my doctor who told me i just have inflammed tonsils but im spitting blood most of the day but in the morning there is lots of it

It may be due to severe tonsillitis, The causes of bleeding tonsils is usually tonsillitis or possibly strep throat.
The tonsils can become red and inflamed and bloody patches can be seen on them. Tonsillitis should be treated by a doctor to avoid complications.
Coughing up blood is seen in chronic tonsillitis, you have to undergo physical examination to find out the cause for blood in the sputum.
