Hello ma am and welcome. Hydrocodone can cause certain unfortunate effects in an unborn child and result in effects like fetal addiction, breathing difficulties in the newborn, and so on. But as she discontinued the medication as soon as she learned about her pregnancy, it should not really have much of an effect on the fetus. Or at least hoping for this. Unfortunately about her baby being taken away from her if tested positive for the drug, we cannot really do much about this ma am.
