Will High Count Of White Blood Cells Cause Fever,joint Pain After Child Birth?

I have 3 children and each time after giving birth to the them i get very sick with a fever, aching joints, and very tired. I went to the hospital and they ran test and told me i had a high count of white bloods cells and they didn't know for sure what that meant.
