Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I understand that you are having severe hair loss from the past 1 week.
Severe and sudden hair loss is called as telogen effluvium. It occurs 3-6 months after a physical illness, child birth, crash dieting, weight loss, surgery and anaemia.
In your case, the duration between the dengue episode and your hair fall is more than 1.5 years. It is unlikely that it should contribute to your current hair fall.
However, it is advisable to get a few blood tests done which includes hemoglobin, Serum ferritin and thyroid profile. Any abnormalities needs to be addressed.
You could benefit from taking oral supplements of Biotin, cysteine and methionine.
Have a healthy diet rich in proteins and anti oxidants.
Try to live a stress free life.
Hope this helps you.
Take care.
