Will Chemotherapy Help In Stage-4 Lung Cancer?
My cousin has been diagnosed with Lung cancer stage 4 Adenocacinoma.
He has had his general chemo but it hasnt shrunk it. He will have a specifc chemo that is apparently still on a testing basis. Will this new chemo help him. We are all praying that it will, but I am scared becuase it seems so final and he is only 47 years old.

Your cousin is suffering from stage 4 lung cancer.
Aim of treatment during this stage is palliative chemotherapy to improve quality of life.
Chemotherapy will help his tumour to remain under control, palliative his symptoms and improve his overall survival from 6 to 9 months.
