Will Breakfast Affect ACTH And Cortisol Results?

I was told to fast for 12 hours before going for my ACTH and cortisol blood work and I forgot and had a few bites of cole slaw. That was at 9pm and I am suppose to get my blood drawn at 8am. Will it affect my blood test results? Should I pick another day to get my blood drawn?

Yes you have to give blood for this tests after minimum 12 hours of fasting. As these are steroids their level tend to fluctuate with stress, food, exercise, time of the day etc. So for accurate report you should have to fast atleast 12 hours. So take other appointment.
