Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello

Yes physiotherapy will help but may not give permanent relief.
You may have good relief with physiotherapy like IFT [Interferential therapy] and TENS[Transcutaneous electrostimulation] along with ultrasound.
So if possible you can start that.

You can consult your doctor for type of arthritis.
You may need specific treatment for particular arthritis.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care.

if she is suffering from osteoarthritis knee, she may get some relief, however what will work better is exercise and weight loss.
