Will A Steroid Shot Reduce Fluid And Swelling Of A Finger?
Hi! I am a 75-year-old woman in very good health (according to my doctor) and overweight. I recently got a large hard swelling on my ring finger. I have had this before and it goes away. However, now I have some damage to my wedding ring and cannot get it off my finger. Tried Windex, butter, soap and cream. Will a steroid shot reduce fluid and swelling? Dava YYYY@YYYY

Hi steroids will reduce the swelling but should not taken without prescription of doctor because it should not stopped suddenly it may cause severe side effects so better to advice of doctor before taking steroid
