Will A Lower Placenta Cause Pregnancy Complications?

i am 37 years old and this is my second delivery. 15th week is going on. Today I have gone through the ultrasound and found that my placenta is lower. Please advise whether I have any complication or will be complicated during delivery or any effect on baby. There is no bleeding at all.

welcome to Health care magic.
1.Get to know about the placental location is important in pregnancy.
2.We call it low lying when placenta is 2 cm or less distance from internal OS ( opening of cervix).
3.But in your case you are 37 weeks low lying - you should not have any complications, most common complications in this could be bleed - in which a section will be indicated. In this cad normal delivery is possible.
4.No it will not effect baby, its more of concern about covering the OS. Which may cause difficulty in delivery.
5.If there is no bleed, wheel and good - keep monitoring, inform even any minute change in fetal moments, pain , bleed ( as followup is want needed in your case)
Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health.
