Will A Colonoscopy Result In A Rupture?

almost 2 years ago I had an ileostomy with complications. Right before the resection surgery a barium enema was performed to see if I had healed before the resection surgery. I have had barium enemas before but this was extrememly painful so much so that I was afraid that I was going to pass out. Now my GI doctor thinks it necessarythat I have a colonoscopy. I am a little fearful that complications like a rupture might occur. Do you have any advice?

HI
well come to HCM
It is advisable to go for CT of abdomen to ruled out the underlying pathology that is the only option you have some doubt because without this not possible to say anything this may not be rupture, take care.
I find this answer helpful
