Will TMJ Cause Ear Infection?

The other day, my ear started doing this clicking noise every time I yawned, burped or sometimes sniffled. It's only in my left ear and today, it started to hurt like an ear infection. I also have TMJ and didn't know if it was a part of that or not. I am 20 years old.

Hello

The clicking sound can be due to your TMJ disorder , however it can also be due to a block in your eustachian tube ( tube between the ear and nose) , for this you may have to meet your doctor for confirmation!
However if it is not disturbing you, then i think you can wait for some more time as many times the dysfunction may resolve spontaneously!
Thanks
