General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
Primolut is norethisterone is used in contraception , menorrhagia , endometriosis .
Here I want to make clear that this drug ( primolut ) is CONTRAINDICATED in pregnancy .
But my experience is that there is no any untoward ( side effect) over fetus ( if any how mother is pregnant and we have given primolut ) .
Although I have no scientific proof but I have not noted any side effect over fetus.
Still consult your gynecologist and get his opinion.
Good luck.
