Will Meprate Tablet Help To Regulate Periods?

Hello Doctor... This is Jayashree.. am having irregular periods.. and from past two months I didnot get my periods at all.. Before two years I took a report (Thyroid, Harmone test, Sugar Test and PCOD)... Everything was normal except PCOD.. yESTERDAY I Consulted doctor and she prescribed me for MEPRATE.. wILL THIS HELP ME IN GETTING MY PERIODS REGULARLY? Also do I have any late getting my pregnancy ???

Hello Jayshree,
Welcome to HCM.
You have said that you have not got menstruation for two months for which your Dr has given you Meprate tablet.
You have also said that you are diagnosed having PCOD.
Meprate Will be given to you for some time like a week or two, then you will stop this medicine. You will have withdrawal bleeding afterwards.
You will not become pregnant as long as you take this medicine as this has contraceptive effect also.
General treatment plan is to regularization of menstrual cycle and than treatment of infertility.
