Will Levolin, Xpect-PD, Advent Syrup Treat Cough In An Infant?

Hi ..my daugter is 3 and half months old. She is suffering from cough - it is causing a roaring sound like thing in the chest. She is taking less feeds. . We got her vaccinated on 5th Jan 2012- OPV,P and HEP B. Doc has gvn Levolin,Xpect-PD,Advent Syrup.He said its due to spasm but needs immediate admission to hospital in case her symptoms are severe

Yes.what your doctor said is correct. She is suffering from LRTI ( most probably viral bronchiolitis ) In my opinion stop levolin and xpect PD.She needs investigation. If reports come abnormal, or not taking feeds well or breathless then needs hospitalisation
