Will Kaopectate Help For Diarrhea Since Last 24 Hours ?

I am having diarrheal during last 24 hours with a dozen or more soft , watery BM's. It happens within 15-30 minutes after I eat something or can continue several times more until, I guess, my stomach is empty. I was constipated a week before for 4-5 days and took magnesium citrate which brook things loose. I'm being prepared for kidney stone surgery early next week. It has been about 12 days and I
,v lost 15 pounds. Will Kaopectate help.??

For diorrhea you need not take medicine iimidiatly. Take electral mixed water two to three times. As such you are constipative. Take more vegitable and fruits. For constipation you can take isophgul at bed time. You should have your stool examined. After seeing the result you can go for treatment if requered.
