Thanks for asking your question on HCM.

There are many methods of contraception which are available for e.g. condoms, contraceptive pills, vaginal diaphragm, intra-uterine devices etc.

Best option would be - to discuss with your partner about future pregnancy planning and speak to your doctor about best contraceptive method. Contraception choice is based on personal preference.

Condoms -- usually safe and doesn't affect your future chances of pregnancy. However, the failure rate is higher as compared to other methods.

Contraceptive pills -- many different hormonal combinations are available in the market. There are much safer as compared to condoms.

Please discuss with your partner and your doctor (Gynecologist/GP)
I hope I've able to guide you.
